Moodrise is a private, 100% offline daily mood & wellness journal. We designed it so your reflections never leave your device. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly how your information is handled.
This app is published by an organization / company developer account.
We collect no personal data. Moodrise has no servers, no analytics, and no accounts. Everything you enter — moods, notes, activities, goals — is created and stored only on your device.
Your entries are used solely to power on-device features: your journal, streaks, achievements, and insight charts. All calculations happen locally. Nothing is transmitted.
We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose your data to anyone, because we never receive it in the first place. Optional export/backup files are created only when you choose to, and are shared only to the destination you pick via your device's share sheet.
Your check-ins are stored in an encrypted local database (Hive with AES-256 encryption). App settings are held in the platform's secure storage (Android Keystore-backed). The encryption key never leaves your device.
Data remains on your device until you delete it. You can remove everything at any time
via Settings → Clear all data, or by uninstalling the app.
Moodrise requires no sign-up, login, email, or password. There is no user profile to create or manage.
Moodrise collects no data from anyone, including children under 13. No personal information is gathered, so none can be collected from minors.
Because your data lives only on your device, you have complete control. You can view, edit, export, or permanently delete your data at any time from within the app — no request to us is necessary.
Moodrise contains no third-party SDKs, advertising networks, analytics tools, or trackers. No third party receives any information about you or your usage.
Moodrise requests only the INTERNET permission, used solely so the in-app
privacy-policy screen can render. The app functions fully offline and makes no network
requests to any server of ours.
Consistent with this policy, our Google Play Data Safety declaration states that no data is collected and no data is shared.
